Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Laza Remote website at lazaremote.com ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Site.

These Terms govern your use of the Site only. If you engage Laza Remote for consulting services, that relationship is governed by a separate engagement agreement, not by these Terms.

These Terms are issued in accordance with applicable Philippine laws, including Republic Act No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), Republic Act No. 8792 (Electronic Commerce Act of 2000), and Republic Act No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).

About Laza Remote

Laza Remote Business Management Consultancy Services ("Laza Remote," "I," "me") is a sole proprietorship operated by Patricia Adrienne Laza and registered with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in the Philippines. The Site provides information about the consultancy's services and a means for prospective clients to submit inquiries.

Use of the Site

The Site is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate initial contact between prospective clients and Laza Remote. You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to engage in any activity that disrupts, damages, or impairs the Site's functionality.

You agree not to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its systems, or its data. You agree not to use the Site to transmit unsolicited communications, spam, or harmful content.

Any unauthorized access, interference, or misuse of the Site or its systems may constitute a violation of Republic Act No. 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012) and may be subject to criminal penalties under Philippine law.

Intake Form Submissions

The pre-discovery intake form on the Contact page collects information about your business to prepare for a potential discovery call. Submitting the intake form does not create a client relationship, constitute a contract, or obligate either party to proceed with an engagement.

Information submitted through the form is used solely to assess fit and prepare for a discovery conversation. How your information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.

Laza Remote reserves the right to decline any inquiry at its discretion.

All personal information collected through the Site is processed in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and the Laza Remote Privacy Policy. By submitting information through any form on the Site, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Scheduling

Discovery calls are scheduled through Calendly, a third-party scheduling platform. By booking a call, you agree to Calendly's terms of service and privacy policy. Scheduling a discovery call does not create an engagement or contractual obligation.

Electronic Transactions

In accordance with Republic Act No. 8792 (Electronic Commerce Act of 2000), electronic documents, communications, and records generated through the Site — including form submissions, email correspondence, and scheduling confirmations — are recognized as valid and enforceable to the same extent as their written counterparts.

No Professional Advice

The content on this Site — including service descriptions, case studies, and general information about operational consulting — is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or business advice.

Any decisions you make based on information found on this Site are your own responsibility. For advice specific to your business situation, engage a qualified professional.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, images, page design, and the underlying code — is the property of Laza Remote or its content creators and is protected by Republic Act No. 8293 (Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines) and applicable international intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from the Site without prior written permission from Laza Remote.

The Laza Remote name, logo, and tagline "Systems that hold" are proprietary marks of Laza Remote.

These third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. Laza Remote is not responsible for the content, practices, or availability of any third-party service.

Inclusion of a link or integration does not imply endorsement of the third-party service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Laza Remote does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.

Laza Remote makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information presented on the Site.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Laza Remote shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site, your inability to use the Site, or any content or information obtained through the Site.

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, including negligence, and even if Laza Remote has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable Philippine law, including consumer protection rights under Republic Act No. 7394 (Consumer Act of the Philippines) where applicable.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Laza Remote and its owner from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts in the Philippines. The parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes in good faith before pursuing formal legal action. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 or other applicable Philippine law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

Laza Remote reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
